Hope Rides Forever: concept for 7 x 22 foot sculpture/ painting monument.

Note: this is still only a rough composition showing the main elements and placement.  The small repeating  “Unity In Strength” lettering will be replaced by the “Motivational Quotes–A Path to Success”  I am in the process of editing these quotes so they are more succinct and fit within the 3 distinctive categories.  In the final artwork they will be “suspended on cycling wire” that will act as “ inspirational threads” that are pulled across the picture plane from one end to another (much like guitar strings). This painted aluminum relief will play with the protocols of painting and collage in three dimensions – much like the work of Frank Stella.
